THIS CLASS IS A MUST FOR EVERY SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD!

"Special Kids Tae Kwon Do" is a self defense and safety education class created for kids with special needs ages 4 and up. Our children need to be aware of the dangers around them and be educated on how to protect themselves incase of a dangerous situation. This class is a well structured fun class that will teach your child important values in life as well as improve physical strength, moral strength and self-confidence. Classes are held every Saturday at the Lighthouse of Pinellas in Largo at 12noon. Call (727) 394-2636 for more information.

MEET MS. KIM

Kim Siewert, a third degree black belt has been teaching Tae Kwon Do since 1993. Kim has a 10 year old daughter with Autism and has dedicated her life to helping others. Tae Kwon Do is more than a sport to Kim, it is a way of life. It allows her to express herself physically, mentally and spiritually. It is an inlet for peace and balance, as well as physical and mental strength. It gives self confidence, self esteem and self discipline. Martial Arts to music takes the sport to a new level that allows the student to express a mood, time or event on a grander scale. Kim now has the passion to work with kids who have special needs and is excited to have the opportunity to help them defend themselves. Because of our children's unique vulnerability they need to be educated in safety. Kim feels if she can prevent one child from being abducted or hurt she has made a difference in this world.
